چکیده
This article presents a unified description of numerical methods for solving electromagnetic field problems. Traditionally, these are considered to be independent and alternative ways Maxwell’s equations or derived therefrom. However, they all projective approximations the unknown solution by known expansion basis functions with amplitude coefficients that determined using so- called method weighted residuals (MWR). common feature forms proposed unifying framework may serve both as systematic introduction computational electromagnetics way provide insight into nature, strengths, limitations various algorithms used present future solvers. For convenience, fundamental concepts summarized in order facilitate demonstration approach. Our aim is students, designers, researchers developing new algorithms, guide users selection application design tools, foster informed engineering judgment. also serves review summary earlier theoretical works reported different places at times.

Distributed Computational Electromagnetics Systems
We describe our development of a \real world" electromagnetic application on distributed computing systems. A computational electromagnetics (CEM) simulation for radar crosssection(RCS) modeling of full scale airborne systems has been ported to three networked workstation cluster systems: an IBM RS/6000 cluster with Ethernet connection; a DEC Alpha farm connected by a FDDI-based Gigaswitch; and...
متن کاملDevelopment of a free anthropomorphic voxel model of human body for wide-band computational electromagnetics dosimetry
To calculate and evaluate wave scattering and penetration of electromagnetic waves in different biological tissues it is necessary to use a realistic model of the human body, with all tissues resolved and separately assigned with appropriate electric/magnetic properties. We report the development of a realistic 3D whole-body human model that has been adapted for simulation in CST software, cont...
متن کاملA wavelet-collocation approach for computational electromagnetics
A wavelet-collocation scheme, constructed from the discrete singular convolution (DSC) is introduced for computational electromagnetics. The basic philosophy behind the DSC algorithm is studied. Four test problems, including waveguide analysis in both regular and irregular domains, electromagnetic wave scattering, electrostatic field estimation via potential functions, and electromagnetic wave ...
متن کاملA review on Computational Electromagnetics Methods
Computational electromagnetics (CEM) is applied to model the interaction of electromagnetic fields with the objects like antenna, waveguides, aircraft and their environment using Maxwell equations. In this paper the strength and weakness of various computational electromagnetic techniques are deliberated in detail. Performance of various techniques in terms accuracy, memory and computation time...
